2014-15 (Junior): Did not see any action for the Catamounts.
2013-14 (Sophomore): Saw action in all 21 of the team's matches on the season ... Became WCU's first women's tennis player to earn first-team All-Southern Conference honors ... Is just the second Catamount women's tennis player to earn recognition on the year-end honorary teams ... Enjoyed an 11-match winning streak that lasted from February 16 through March 30 en route to her WCU school-record 16 individual wins - a new overall and No. 1 singles record ... Her 5-4 record in Southern Conference matches also established a new standard at the top position ... Claimed three victories in doubles competition ... Played in the USTA/ITA Carolina Regional in the fall semester, earning an automatic main draw in individual competition ... Was named a Scholar-Athlete by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
2012-13 (Freshman): Saw action in all 17 of the team's matches on the season... Led the team with five individual wins ... Played all 17 matches as the No. 1 singles player ... Played in both the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles slots ... Finished with a 5-5 record with Shannon Bettiol in the No. 1 doubles slot and 3-5 with Karen Jimenez in the No. 2 slot ... Won four-straight doubles matches in early April and three-straight in mid-March ... Was named a Scholar-Athlete by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
Prior to Western Carolina: Four-time section 1-AAA doubles champion and two-time 1-AAA singles champion ... Undefeated in 1-AAA section matches.
Personal: Daughter of Mark and Kim Kissell ... Has two sisters, Michaela and Joelle ... Michaela is currently the head women's tennis coach at Western Carolina ... Joelle played collegiate tennis for the Wolfpack of North Carolina State.
